Sub-Processors
BillingPlatform engages sub-processors to help deliver the BillingPlatform service. We have a written data processing agreement with each sub-processor, incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where required, which obliges them to protect personal data to the standard we are held to under our agreements with our customers.
BillingPlatform acts as a processor for personal data our customers submit to the service; our customers are the controllers of that data. Where we intend to engage a new sub-processor, we will give our customers at least 30 days’ notice before that sub-processor begins processing their data. A customer may object in accordance with the terms of their data processing agreement.
