Deloitte’s 2020 North America Technology Fast 500 measures the fastest-growing companies in technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech sectors. Technology Fast 500 awardees were selected based on their percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2016 to 2019.
Among those honored, eight Colorado companies made the list including BillingPlatform which ranks #197 with a three-year growth rate of 617%. “Colorado’s reputation as a leading tech hub is rising and fast. Companies from other tech hubs around the nation, including Silicon Valley, are even migrating here,” mentioned Chris Schmidt, managing partner at the Denver office for Deloitte Consulting LLP.
5 of the Colorado-based companies were interviewed by the Denver Business Journal as panelists for their virtual Table of Experts forum. Brad Sawaya, CFO at BillingPlatform shared that, “Our founders wanted to build a better technology and weren’t afraid to go up against bigger players and win in those situations. They weren’t ashamed of being a smaller company. They were confident in their technology and weren’t afraid to go to market with it.”
